
Call For Student Abstracts
Poster presentations provide an opportunity for students to share research and receive feedback from other scientists and peers. New Jersey students are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentation. We encourage students to submit abstracts that address the event’s theme:Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine:
Expanding the Cure Corridor Through New Jersey and BeyondTopics within the areas of biomedical engineering and biotechnology are also welcome.
General Information
- Abstracts will be accepted via e-mail submission. Download the template and e-mail your abstract to Melissa Aranzamendez at aranzamendez@biology.rutgers.edu by February 17, 2008.
- All presenters must register for the BME Showcase event.
Abstract Preparation (see template)
- Name, contact information, and academic level must be included with the submittal.
- Abstracts must not exceed one page.
- Abstract title must be in 14pt Times, Title Case (Upper and Lower Case), bold, center-justified. Abstract Title must not exceed 100 characters.
- Remaining text must be in 12pt Times, left-justified. All authors and advisors are represented by first name, followed by the surname. Academic affiliations must indicate institution, department, and city.
- Use single spacing.
- Pictures, tables, and graphs may be included within the limits specified.
After the poster abstracts have been reviewed by the program committee, applicants will receive notification regarding the status of their submission. The notification will also provide additional information with respect to poster specifications, display space, and set-up time.
